Don't be intimidated about the thought of installation because the system comes with all of the components you will need to install it on your SS kayak. The hands-free operation utilizes the Double Acting Foot Braces that are stock on your SS kayak. The SteeringReel gives you quick adjustability when changing your seat from low-high positions. Retractable lift and lower handles are easily installed on each side of your seat, giving you convenient access to quickly deploy or stow your rudder. The wide surface area of the YakAttack SwingBlade makes the rudder super responsive. The SwingBlade also is designed with built-in vents that rest above the waterline to reduce wind drag.
